Gardener’s Tip
Plant bulbs between September and December (or early January), around 8 cm deep in well-drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded position. Tulips perform best when planted in groups or drifts, allowing their colours to blend naturally for a fuller display.
Wear gloves when handling bulbs, as ornamental bulbs may cause skin irritation and can be harmful if ingested by pets. Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering so the bulbs can store energy for strong blooms the following season.
