Overview

Single Tulip ‘Kyoko Takahashi’

Tulip ‘Kyoko Takahashi’ is a graceful single tulip admired for its soft pink blooms and elegant, classic tulip shape. The smooth petals form a refined cup that opens beautifully in the spring sunshine, bringing gentle colour and freshness to garden borders and containers. Its delicate tone makes it perfect for pastel spring planting schemes and romantic garden displays.

Flowering in April and reaching an impressive 60 cm in height, this variety adds height and presence to mid-spring gardens. With its tall stems and balanced form, ‘Kyoko Takahashi’ is also excellent for cut flower arrangements, where its soft colouring complements many other spring blooms.

Gardener’s Tip

Plant bulbs between September and December, about 8 cm deep in well-drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded position. Tulips thrive in soil that drains freely during winter, helping to prevent bulbs from sitting in excess moisture.

Wear gloves when handling bulbs, as ornamental bulbs may cause skin irritation and may be harmful if ingested by pets. Allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering so the bulb can store energy for strong blooms the following spring.
