Overview
Fringed Tulip ‘Fancy Frills’
Tulip ‘Fancy Frills’ is a truly elegant tulip variety admired for its soft pink petals with beautifully fringed edges. The delicately serrated margins give each bloom a lace-like appearance, adding texture and sophistication to spring planting displays. Its romantic colouring and unusual petal shape make it a standout choice for gardeners looking to introduce something a little different to classic tulip beds.
Blooming in April and reaching around 60 cm in height, ‘Fancy Frills’ adds graceful height and movement to borders and containers. The striking blooms also hold well as cut flowers, bringing soft colour and refined beauty to indoor arrangements.

Gardener’s Tip
Plant bulbs between September and December, around 8 cm deep in well-drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded location. Tulips thrive in soil that drains freely during winter, helping to prevent bulbs from sitting in excess moisture.
Wear gloves when handling bulbs, as ornamental bulbs may cause skin irritation and can be harmful if ingested by pets. Allow the foliage to die back naturally after flowering so the bulbs can store energy for strong blooms the following spring.
