Shallots Golden Gourmet

Golden Gourmet (Allium cepa) is originally from the Netherlands and originally is the most-famous shallot variety with yellow skin colour. It is a major advance on the traditional variety 'Giant Yellow'.

Golden Gourmet is medium-early and produces round shallots with strong, golden-yellow skin. They have an average height of 35 centimetre and a spread of 15 centimetre. The variety can be grown on any soil type, loves full sun and is suitable for short-term storage. They store well throughout the winter.
