Overview

Double Daffodils ‘Mixed’

This mixed selection of double daffodils brings together some of the most popular and striking varieties such as Apotheose, Golden Ducat, Tahiti, Replete, and Gay Time. Each mix offers a beautiful combination of colours and forms, from rich yellows to soft whites and pinks, creating a luxurious and ever-changing spring display.

Flowering from mid-March onwards and reaching around 40 cm in height, these double daffodils produce full, layered blooms that add texture and depth to borders and containers. The mix is perfect for gardeners who want maximum impact with minimal effort, especially when planted in large groups.

Key Features

  • Premium Mixed Varieties: Includes a selection of top-performing double daffodils.

  • Double Layered Blooms: Full, multi-petalled flowers create a rich and textured display.

  • Late Spring Flowering: Blooms from mid-March, extending seasonal colour.

  • Vibrant Colour Mix: A blend of yellows, whites, and soft pink tones.

  • Ideal for Mass Planting: Creates a bold, eye-catching display when planted in groups.

Gardener’s Tip

Plant bulbs between September and December, around 8 cm deep in well-drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded position. Double daffodils have heavier flower heads, so it is best to plant them in a sheltered spot protected from strong wind and heavy rain to keep blooms upright.

For the best visual impact, plant in large drifts or clusters. Wear gloves when handling bulbs, as they may cause skin irritation and can be harmful if ingested by pets. Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering so bulbs can store energy for the following season.
