Overview

The Authentic "Cut-and-Come-Again" Italian Classic

Organic Ramoso Calabrese is a premium Italian heirloom that far outperforms standard supermarket varieties. Unlike commercial hybrids bred for a single harvest, this "branching" broccoli is the gift that keeps on giving; once you harvest the large central head, the plant produces a continuous supply of tender side shoots for weeks.

As a Certified Organic and open-pollinated variety, these seeds are free from chemical treatments and naturally resilient to varied weather conditions. You’ll enjoy a sweeter, nuttier flavor than mass-produced alternatives, with succulent, non-woody stems that are entirely edible from crown to base. It is the perfect choice for eco-conscious gardeners seeking a prolific, high-yield harvest and authentic Mediterranean quality.

Key Features

  • Continuous "Cut-and-Come-Again" Harvest: Produces a large central head followed by a steady stream of tender side shoots, providing a much longer harvest season than modern hybrids.
  • Superior Heirloom Flavor: A traditional Italian variety prized for its sweet, delicate taste and tender stems that far surpass the quality of store-bought broccoli.
  • Fast-Growing & Resilient: Reaches maturity in just 60–90 days and thrives in both spring and autumn, offering excellent adaptability for various garden climates.
  • 100% Organic & Non-GMO: Sustainably sourced and grown without synthetic chemicals, ensuring a healthy, eco-friendly addition to your vegetable patch.

Gardener's Tip

Broccoli roots need very firm soil to support the top-heavy plants in the wind. When transplanting your seedlings, firm them in with your heel (don't be shy!) so they don't rock back and forth, which can hinder head formation.
