Gardener’s Tip

Plant bulbs between September and December, around 8 cm deep in well-drained soil in a sunny or lightly shaded location. Double tulips benefit from sheltered positions, helping to protect their large, layered blooms from strong spring winds.

Wear gloves when handling bulbs, as ornamental bulbs may cause skin irritation and can be harmful if ingested by pets. After flowering, allow the foliage to die back naturally so the bulbs can store energy for strong blooms the following season.
